- The Psychotheory Review is a semi-academic and independent scientific/philosophical publication published twice a year, in June and December. The journal is published online (online e-journal). The languages of the studies accepted to the journal are Turkish and English.

- The intellectual content of the articles published in the Psychotheory Review is the responsibility of the author. The ideas contained in the articles may not be the main ideas of the journal.

- The main purpose of Psychotheory Review is to create a suitable basis for everyone to contribute to science and philosophy, to translate important articles into Turkish, to convey interviews with experts in the field and to present reviews of newly published books. For these purposes, the journal is shaped around the themes of neuroscience, psychoanalysis and philosophy of mind. The main themes of the journal are these areas.

The department and university of a candidate writer who is a university student are not important. Likewise, the place/institution where a university graduate writer candidate works is not important. One of the most important conditions for the written article to be evaluated is whether the article is scientific or philosophical. Articles should only be sent to the e-mail address specified in the contact section. The deadline for submission for the June issue of Psychotheory Journal is May 10, and the deadline for the December issue is November 10. Articles sent after these dates are put on hold to be evaluated for the next issue.

- Articles evaluated in the File Subject field are first examined by the issue editors and then delivered to the referees selected by the issue editors to evaluate whether they can be accepted for publication. A blind referee system is applied during the evaluation phase. Each article is evaluated by two referees. If the referees unanimously decide that the article is not suitable for publication, the article will not be published. If the referees cannot reach a common decision, the issue editors undertake the evaluation. If the referees make a joint decision that the article is suitable for publication, the article is delivered to the editors for publication. After the article is edited, it is sent to the author and approval of the new edited version is obtained. The article is then added to the journal for publication.

- Articles evaluated in the Out of File field are first examined by the publication coordinator and then delivered to two different editorial board members who are related to the subject of the article to evaluate whether it can be accepted for publication. If the members of the editorial board jointly decide that the article is not suitable for publication, the article will not be published. If the members cannot reach a common decision, the publication coordinator undertakes the evaluation. If the members of the editorial board unanimously decide that the article is suitable for publication, the article is delivered to the editors for publication. After the article is edited, it is sent to the author and approval of the new edited version is obtained. The article is then added to the journal for publication.

- In accordance with the principle, research articles are not published in the Psychotheory Review. Apart from this, intellectual articles, compilations, translations and interviews can be published. For film and book reviews, the publication coordinator should be contacted. All published articles must be original; in case of plagiarism, the author's entire relationship with the journal is terminated.
